We are playing our part in the local community, and people have all sorts of different connections with us, from parents and children connected to the Holiday Bible Club, members of clubs and groups which use our premises all through the week, to experienced leaders and committed members who are really ‘the ministers’ of this church as they live out their faith and use their gifts.

We are passionate about God, about experiencing the nearness of Jesus every day and the way the Bible speaks to our contemporary lives and situations. However, that doesn’t make us religious! We are keen on reminding one another that, with God helping, “we can” but you are unlikely to hear “you ought”. We are delighted that God loves us and uses us, warts and all — we don’t have a “holier than thou” stance towards others. We have needs, make mistakes and work out how to handle life’s pressures. If there’s a difference, it is because we have found a way to be empowered, and what it means to be truly loved.
