Isn't it amazing to realise that God really does LOVE me and His Spirit testifies with our soul the Truth of all His promises, so that our Hope becomes Certainty because of all He has done for us in Creation, The Cross and The Church. DAY 60 I don't know about you but these last 60 days have taught me that I need to continue this "experiment" and I am just in the early days of discovering more about The Lord His Love and His plans, as I seek to stay connected and pray for the strength to be willing to respond, and I definitely want more of Him every moment. Don't go back to how you were 60 days ago.

Day 51: Write down 51 things you've got and then spend some time thanking God for every one of them. Then ask yourself am I willing to let God use me and everything I have?

Day 37 Am I creating the right soil and conditions in my life to allow God to grow my faith and hear Him speak to me?

Day 30 1/2 way there? "God needs our willingness. He needs us to stay connected, open to do His will in our moments of struggle, and this is precisely where we need to help each other!" encourage someone today

Day 26. Find the 60:60 really challenging! Gettings lots of promptings regarding forgiveness, amends to be made. All I've got to do now is actually take the action and be obediant :) Why does that feel so hard?!!

Day25: I read this on the Gateway blog site: "Sin is like an auto-immune disease—we attack and starve and destroy our own Body. We can’t allow this to happen—it destroys God’s dream!"
As we do 60:60 this week let's ask God to show us where we need healing, so we can build His kIngdom in Sindlesham.

Day 21: Although I'm still not at the point of remembering every hour at least now I'm expecting to hear God speak to me and am willing to listen.

Day 16: 1 John 4:12 ..if we love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us." pay attention to how you treat those closest to you.

Day 14: instead of trying to make people behave like us and believe what we believe and do what we do, we need to ask Jesus to change us to become more like Him. Then people will see Him not us and try to live like Him. Let's build His Kingdom not our kingdom.

DAY 12: Romans 8:38-39 its an utterly overwhelming idea that a loving and all-powerful God wants to share an intimate bond with the likes of you or me, but these verses assure us that He does. "we'll walk together each step of the way. I'll cover you.I'll love you. I'll never leave you. I'll always be yourGod...... Amazing Priase The Lord!!

Day 11 Reading a great book called "The power of a whisper" If we are not hearing from God do 4 things: 1) pray every day "Give me ears like Samuel (1 Samuel 3) to hear you God. 2) reduce the ambient noise take time in the day to be still and listen. 3) Read the bible and learn verses. 4) continual patterns of sin hamper our communication with God. If there is anything you don't want to let go of confess it to God today. Mother Theresa went through a period in her life where she did not hear God speaking to her so what she did, was to go back to the last thing God had said to her and followed that diligently. Soon God began to whisper to her again.
Testing what we hear. How do we distinguish God's voice? 1) ask is this from God is it consistent with his character? 2) Is it Scriptural? 3) Is it wise? 4) Is it in tune with your character gifts and passion? 5) what do people you trust think about it?
Let's every morning pray that prayer "Lord speak to me I'm listening."

Day 4. I haven't been able to remember to connect with God every hour yet, but hopefully I will more and more as the days go by. I am going to stick a sticky coloured dot on my watch tomorrow (it won't beep) to help me remember,
Yesterday as I was driving home I remembered to connect and when I couldn't decide which way to go to miss the traffic, I felt it right to turn left, I did so and got home easily no queues, or holdups. God is with us every moment and does want to help us with even the smallest decisions.

…right i’m back with you, this blog has been created as a forum for expressing yourself around the 60:60 experiment. Please add in any comments / strategies / positive thoughts / feelings / emotions / ways that God has spoken to you or changed you during the experiment. Please don’t hold yourself back, and nothing is too short, too unimportant or too boring to share with the group, anything goes!

It will be great to have everyones collective thoughts here from SBC, so we can aid each other in the 60:60 experiment and log the huge impact I am sure it will have on all of us!
