Children and Youth

Children and young people are important to us. We believe they are the church of today, not tomorrow.

Both children and teenagers are encouraged to play an active part in the life of the church, with appropriate roles and responsibilities.

There are opportunities to develop performing arts skills including working with our renowned puppet ministry.

S Club

Children enjoy a Sunday Club staffed by gifted volunteers, all of whom are Criminal Record Board (CRB) checked and adhere to the church’s child protection policy, based on the Baptist Union’s ‘Safe to Grow’ scheme with some enhancements of our own. Regular training on good procedure and care of children and young people is undertaken and we subscribe to Churches Child Protection Advisory Service (CCPAS) to keep us up to date with good practice and carry out CRB updates.

Sunbeams Toddler Group

Sunbeams Toddler group meets every Thursday morning from 10.00 to 11.30 at the Church. All are welcome, just pop-in.
