Vision:

To see our community transformed by the Spirit of Christ. To see lives of individuals in the community changed by Jesus. To see our lives changed and enhanced by Jesus.

Our mission:

We are here to reach out to our community in prayer and word and deed. To make disciples of everyone God puts into contact with us, and to be committed disciples ourselves.

How we see ourselves in order to fulfil our vision:

We also see ourselves as working together in unity in order to fulfil our vision. We also see that it is necessary that all we do goes to fulfilling our vision.

We see ourselves as being committed to personal growth in our discipleship. We see ourselves as being warm and welcoming to everyone, including (and especially) children.

We see ourselves as being contemporary and relevant in our worship and preaching. In worship we see ourselves being open to and expectant of the move of the Spirit within the congregation.

We see ourselves as being prayerful for our community seeking God’s guidance and to respond willingly when He opens doors of opportunity for us to do outreach. Similarly, as and when He shuts a door on our ministry, we will pray for His guidance as to what is next.

We see ourselves as a community that experiences love, support, and teaching in small groups. Our groups aid us in our discipleship and provide our primary pastoral care.

We see ourselves practising the Kingdom of God principles of, forgiving, reconciling, caring for, encouraging and praying for one another.

We see ourselves as willing to use the buildings God has blessed us with to aid the communities of Sindlesham and Winnersh. We will prayerfully seek the mind of God on such matters, as we see that using our building is part of our mission.

We see ourselves as needing everyone’s gifting and being reliant on their ministry for our edification.

We see ourselves as a witnessing church and so will equip and involve everyone in evangelism.
