How Vision Is Received (Part 5)

THIS message responds to the question, “How do we do it?”. This starts with examples of N.T. churches from Acts 13: 1-6, where the church hears a confirming word about sending Barnabas and Paul on their first missionary journey, and 1 Corinthians 14: 26, a snapshot of participatory worship where teaching and revelation come. Then there are three stories about strongly vision-led church situations, two known to the congregation and one from another Baptist church. The challenge is for the church to put itself in the right place to receive, through ‘raising the bar’ on church prayer, church worship and a church desire for a God-given vision that brings unity and purpose.
