Philippians Chapter 4 'Let's Do It!'

Paul concludes his letter with a challenge to do what he has been telling them to do in the previous three chapters. He calls them To Rejoice in The Lord vv.1-5 so that joy will characterise their lives together and as individuals: To Pray vv.6-9 about everything and not to be anxious or worry when things are difficult for God is at work and we need to think on positive things not negative destructive thoughts. To be Content vv.10-19, Paul had learned not to equate material comfort with contentment. v13 ‘I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.’
